The dark, psychological sci-fi epic that is “Halo: Nightfall” continues this week with the fourth episode in the Ridley Scott-produced five-episode Halo tie-in series, titled “Gods of the Damned.”
In this penultimate episode, Locke and his ONI squad – along with Colonel Aiken and his Sedran Guard – are still trying to make it to their crashed ship. But the deadly, technology-seeking Hunter worms that inhabit this chunk of Halo ring are whittling the team down.
As more team members fall victim to the Hunter worms, the remaining members face the possibility that not everyone can be rescued, and team alliances begin to form. Tensions rise, and Locke and Aiken have to try and keep their teams together long enough for any of them to survive.
“Gods of the Damned” premieres tonight at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time, and 4:00 p.m. Pacific time. If you missed the first three episodes, be sure to catch up on them exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 via the Halo Channel, where interactive features like Second Stories provide deeper perspective on the cast of “Halo: Nightfall” and bring fans deeper into the Halo experience. The full “Halo: Nightfall” series is included as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection at no additional cost.
Check back next Tuesday, December 9, at the same time for the thrilling “Halo: Nightfall” series finale.
